Main Duties
- Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of a team of couriers engaged in the collecting, sorting and delivering of mail, parcels and other material
- Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with the delivery team
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised
Key Responsibilities

- Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit reports to the manager
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Ability to meet and maintain service requirements
- Load and unload vehicle
- Perform additional pick-ups and deliveries as required
- Complete and submit accurate daily required documentation
- Build positive relationships with both internal customers (managers, employees, dispatch, and other contractors) and external customers
- Additional duties as required
Key Requirements
- Possess a valid Driver’s Licence at all times – with a clean driving record
- Ability to pick-up and deliver all packages associated to the route area or as required.
- Complete a criminal record check and security screening
- Must be able to lift 65lbs
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Several years of supervisory experience in a similar industry is a must

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday position with some Sundays during Peak Christmas Season.
Wages and Benefits
$31.53 / hour
Start Date
